On Saturday, the Delhi Government called off the odd-even scheme that was to remain from 13 to 17 November, after the National Green Tribunal allowed it with a rider that exemptions given to two-wheelers and four-wheelers driven by women would have to go. The Aam Aadmi Party had announced on Thursday this week that its car rationing programme for the third time this year to curb pollution in the city. Citing the two conditions set by the NGT and a reduction in the PM levels, On Saturday, Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot said, “At the moment, we are calling odd-even off”.
