The owner of Pushpa Sales, the oxygen supplier to Baba Raghav Das Medical College where dozens of children died last month, was arrested along with 8 other people on Sunday in connection with the case. Approximately 60 children died within a week last month. The allegations were that the cause of the sudden death of so many children were due to lack of oxygen supply over unpaid bills to the vendor. All the 9 persons named in the FIR have been held. “Manish Bhandari, the owner of Pushpa Sales, was arrested from the Deoria bypass road,” Senior Superintendent of Police Gorakhpur, Anirudh Sidhartha Pankaj said.
