The holding company for the $100 billion, salt-to-software conglomerate, Tata Sons, has elevated Bhaskar Bhat, the managing director of Titan, and Saurabh Agrawal, group chief financial officer, to the company’s board. Mr. Bhat had “helped his company drive brand value and achieve a market capitalisation of $10 billion”, while Mr. Agrawal brought “deep capital market knowledge and valuable cross industry experience to the Tata group,” Tata Sons said in a statement. With the latest additions, the board of Tata Sons has been expanded to 11 members, including chairman N. Chandrasekaran, Vijay Singh, Nitin Nohria, Ronen Sen, Farida Khambata, Venu Srinivasan, Ajay Piramal, Amit Chandra and Ralf Speth.
